For Individuals

Join Our Graduate Circle
Donors who make gifts of more than $1000 between January 1 and December 31 in any calendar year are honored as members of Juma’s Graduate Circle. In addition to joining the ranks of an uncommon group of people dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for young people, Graduate Circle members receive these exclusive benefits:

Search with GoodSearch, Shop with GoodShop, Dine with GoodDining
GoodSearch is a powerful Yahoo-powered search engine that donates 50% of its revenue to Juma, while GoodShop.com is an online shopping and coupon portal that donates up to 30% of every item purchased from popular retailers like Amazon, Target and Macy’s. GoodDining is an everyday dine-out-for-charity program that donates up to 6% of the bill to Juma when you eat at any of the 10,000 participating restaurants nationwide. Simply downloading the GoodSearch toolbar is a great way to help us raise funds every time you search the web or shop online—all without spending a cent.

Consider a Gift-In-Kind
In addition to monetary donations, gifts-in-kind are another effective way to support Juma's work. These donations can take the form of anything from lightly-used furniture to museum tickets to pro bono marketing and design services. If you are interested in making a gift-in-kind, please contact our development department at 415.371.0727 ext. 207.

Remember Juma in Your Estate Planning
When you include Juma in your financial or estate plan, you are helping include a college education in the plans of low-income students in your community. Planned gifts of any size are welcome at Juma. To learn more about the many tax benefits of planned gift giving, contact Nick Hutchinson, Chief Development Officer, at 415.371.0727 ext. 311 or nickh@jumaventures.org.

Say it with stocks
Juma welcomes gifts of appreciated securities. Please download and complete our Stock Donation Form. For questions or additional information, contact Nick Hutchinson, Chief Development Officer, at 415.371.0727 ext. 311 or nickh@jumaventures.org.

Hand over your keys
Juma partners with Charitable Auto Resource, Inc. (CARS) to accept your vehicle or boat donation. You get the itemized tax deduction, we get a much-appreciated donation. For more information on this win-win scenario, call CARS at 877.537.5277 or check out Juma's page on the CARS website.

Make your employer a hero
Many companies will match employees' donations and/or volunteer hours. We encourage you to contact the human resources representative at your place of work to find out if your company has a matching gift program.

Make your colleagues heroes, too
Juma participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), United Way of the Bay Area, and the California State Employees Charitable Campaign (CSECC). Contact your human resources representative to determine if your company participates in any of these campaigns and how to enroll.

Offer Career Tours and Interships for Juma Youth
